Tuft and needle me sold that their product is different then those pushy mattress stores. It had to be made with some ground breaking materials to be compressed and rolled. Like a whole mattress to my door ready to go. When tuft and needle came out I was like this is new and amazing. Even create business that promote these new brands. Just promote something as new and better when its the same thing in a different skin. Mattress company have gone the way of the oil industry. If you’re thinking of a mattress, skip Casper and go with ANYTHING else. If a tired first time mom who’s baby wakes up 3-4 times a night -and has for the last 9 months- can’t find comfort in it then I KNOW it’s not a good mattress. I refuse to believe that any box mattress is comfortable. It is an overpriced piece of foam and it has solidified my opinion on boxed mattresses. I regret ever agreeing to the purchase of this mattress. I toss and turn for an hour before finally giving up and moving into the other room. You would also think a new mom would be so exhausted that she could sink into any mattress and just fall asleep but NOPE. (Also, at least ikea has a lifetime warranty on their mattress). And when I lay on that IKEA mattress that is practically hanging off the frame because of how lopsided it’s become- I feel like I’ve landed on a cloud from sleep heaven. I’m currently sleeping on our old IKEA mattress in the guest room because of how uncomfortable it is. This mattress has caused me back pain in ways you cannot imagine. At this point I’m about 28 weeks pregnant and thinking the reason I’m uncomfortable is because of the baby or because it’s on the floor and not on a frame. Well Covid hit and our bed frame delivery was delayed so we slept on it on the floor of our new bedroom.
We didn’t move in until 2 months after we had the mattress so we only had 30 days to test it. He found the Casper and said it had great reviews and it was on sale when we got it. I was pregnant and in my first trimester at the time (nausea, fatigue, irritable) and couldn’t be bothered to research a mattress so my husband did. When my husband and I closed on our house at the end of 2019 we decided we would get a new mattress and the old one would go in the guest room.
